 When
John Dinella returned from World War II in 1947,
he decided to start a taxi service. Before the war,
John played on the Collingswood football team in
what is still called the Colonial Conference and
so he called the company Colonial taxi.
John and his wife have long since retired to their
seaside home in Stone Harbor, NJ, but Colonial Transport
is still family owned and operated. Since 1991,
Colonial has expanded the package delivery division
and also added airport shuttle services. |
